Athlone Drug Awareness Group was delighted to be part of Willow Park Pride of Place on 22nd July 2015.

Our role on the day was to display information which is available to the Community in Willow Park and to show interest in the Community there in their quest to achieve the award for Pride of Place. We were also delighted to be in a position to support them with a donation towards their costs.

We joined other concerned Groups there in the display tent where the Judges on the day examined our information stand and spoke to us about our work and the danger of Drug misuse. The Judges were very impressed with our literature and the support we provide to the Community there.
